Holly & Tom

Diagnosing and treating our previously undiagnosed problems has given us a better quality of life and the ability to conceive naturally, which is such an amazing, life changing gift!

Our Story
For almost 7 years, Holly and Tom experienced the devastating highs and ultimate lows of infertility. Repeatedly the couple was told In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) was their only option to conceive a child. Holly, a Registered Nurse, sensed there was an unexplained cause for this. She was tired, experienced back pain and stomach pain/bloating/IBS – all symptoms that didn’t make sense for her active lifestyle. Yet, no fertility clinic could answer their questions or provide an explanation for these symptoms.
All that changed when they began working with a local FertilityCare Practitioner at St Mary's Visitation Parish. By learning and using Creighton charting with their FertilityCare Practitioner and meeting with theirNaPro Physician, they discovered that Holly had stage III endometriosis. Holly recalls, "For the first time in our fertility journey, someone was taking care of me. Everyone else only wanted to give us a baby, not address underlying causes.”
In March 2017, Holly underwent an extensive laparoscopic surgery to remove endometriosis. Since then the couple has gone on to have two beautiful children. On top of that, her monthly cycles are much less painful and the majority of her previous symptoms have resolved.
“The approach that the Creighton Model FertilityCare System uses for fertility is so special because it respects the Catholic faith, treats the couple and unborn child with dignity, produces science based results and also frankly makes the most sense! Diagnosing and treating our previously undiagnosed problems has given us a better quality of life and the ability to conceive naturally, which is such an amazing, life changing gift!”
