Our Story
We discovered the Creighton Model and our FertilityCare Practitioner during our marriage prep class and it was such a blessing. As a couple getting married "later in life" (aged 40) we were anxious to start a family right away. Charting made so much sense but I quickly discovered something was not right. Our FertilityCare Practitioner recommended a NaPro provider that was willing to listen, care, and work with me. I didn't realize that an OBGYN could be so caring, and she truly wanted to help us start a family; but we all ended up crying together when she discovered a tumor. Unfortunately my cancer treatments have left me permanently infertile, but we were able to discover the cancer at stage one which meant that I could avoid chemotherapy.
